Commercial Interior Design
The Consultation
Commercial spaces, like residential spaces, must adhere to a detailed and comprehensive  design process. Discovery with the stakeholders on how the business functions and the needs of all who interact in the spaces are defined here. Unlike private spaces, the emphasis for public spaces is on functionality, effective brand representation, and a motivational, efficient aesthetic for both clients and employees.
The Concept
Once a clear understanding of the requirements is outlined, and a budget and timeline defined, a design concept is conceptualized and presented. The design concept outlines space planning, structural change requirements, materials selection, and lighting, as well as a furniture and accessories package.
The design concept will then be presented for approval. Upon sign off, the work can begin.
The Execution
Structural changes with contractors and procuring of items represent the work in the final stage. This is the longest part of the process during which we ensure timeline, budget and quality of work are monitored, and any issues immediately communicated and addressed. When the structural work is done and items for project are on hand, installation can begin. A walkthrough and follow up to gauge the design implementation are critical last steps to evaluate overall success of the design.
